Partner Church Committee For twenty years now, the Unitarian Universalist community in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has nurtured and sustained a relationship with the Unitarian Community in Komjatszeg, Romania (Transylvania). The Partner Church Committee at Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist has been active since 1980 and currently has eight members ranging from 13 to 82 years of age. Please join us any time as we celebrate our UU presence in our community and around the world.

Visit to Partner Church in Komjatszeg - 2007
Seven representative of Peoples Church visited our Partner Church in Komjatszeg, Transylvania, Romania during the first week of August 2007. The church was celebrating the 150th anniversary of their church building and recent renovations. During the visit, we established personal connections with the Transylvanian Unitarians and learned more about our shared heritage and belief.
